Mirkayla Hedlund I am A student at LBCC, currently I am taking A general Associates degree and eventually working my way up to a bachelors degree. I have been going to LBCC for about a year now and have enjoyed my experience so far. I've had many challenges, but life has many obstacles to overcome. The best part about LBCC are that most of the staff are pretty chill and down-to-earth people that are willing to work with you. There are also many different places around campus to grab a bite to eat which is great. Another part i like about LBCC is that there is a support system called The Learning Center which is very helpful for all kinds of people including myself. LBCC has impacted my life by making me realize that I really don't know what to do with my life. It feels like, why do you do the work when you don't have an end goal or something that you want to work for or towards? When you don't

My greatest accomplishment was when I passed all my classes winter term as I worked closing shifts with no sleep.I chose to go to LBCC is because of it's affordability."

I wanted to take this class because it is two subjects that I love, Journalism and photography. I started "photography" when I was really young. Something about capturing a moment and being able to look back at it whenever intrigued me. My Goals: My three goals for taking this class are to take good photos that everyone can enjoy. I know right what is considered a good photo, I believe that a good photo is one that makes you feel something and it makes you think about it. Figuring out my own style is something i'm really trying to figure out. Also I just want to have fun with it! If you are not loving what you are doing then what are you doing? LBCC Photos: I think that the sports teams would be good subjects for a photo shoot. Something about matching outfits and balls gets people's att
